The Democratic unification tour begins today in Unity, New Hampshire.

Presumptive Democratic nominee Barack Obama and New York Senator Hillary Clinton will make their first public appearance together since Clinton dropped out of the presidential race.

Not only are the former rivals are coming together in the aptly named town later this morning, they are reportedly flying to the state together on Obama’s plane.

Obama yesterday pledged to donate $2,300 of his own money to help pay down Clinton’s campaign debt. That’s the most allowed under campaign finance laws.

The two met with some of Clinton’s biggest donors yesterday.
