The survey, conducted by the Biden campaign’s analytics team, is the first time since the debate that Biden’s aides have sought to measure Harris’ strength as a potential nominee. While the campaign has not disclosed the reasons behind the survey or its plans for the results, it indicates that Biden’s team may be preparing for a scenario where he is no longer the party’s top candidate.
The development comes as a growing number of prominent Democrats, including Senator Peter Welch of Vermont, have openly called for Biden to step aside or reconsider his plans to run. Media are all a bunch of phonies.
I don’t believe there is any intention of replacing Biden.
They are suddenly spinning all this news to decrease the urgency Republicans feel to get out & vote for Trump, assuming he’ll win by a landslide anyway…
With less red votes coming in, the election can be stolen.

Don’t be fooled.
Harris will have someone else as the Vice-Presidential candidate. While picking a “Progressive” will shore up her base, (and alienate everyone else), picking a moderate, especially from a swing state (e.g. Joshua Shapiro) would enable her to compete for anti-MAGA Republicans and independents (especially if Trump is adopting relatively radical positions such as withdrawal from NATO, deporting all illegal aliens, or federal restrictions on abortion and contraception).
The one thing Biden can’t do is pick a new Vice-President. And Biden has no control over his platform, whereas party bosses uniting in a smoke-filled room to “bless” Harris might be able to steer the platform in ways that will help win the election.
How does one “secretly poll”? Curious, indeed.
