✈️❄️ The nation’s aviation network is grinding to a standstill as a powerful bomb cyclone slams the Northeast, disrupting more than 8,000 flights nationwide.

• 8,000+ cancellations reported so far, with hundreds more delays through Tuesday
• Major hubs hit hard: JFK, LaGuardia, Newark, Philadelphia, and Boston
• JetBlue has canceled about 40% of its Sunday schedule
• Several international carriers have canceled all Monday flights to/from NYC and Newark
• Blizzard conditions with near-zero visibility and gusts up to 70 mph are hampering runway operations

Most major airlines — including Delta, American, United, and Southwest — are waiving change and cancellation fees, allowing passengers to rebook through midweek without penalty.
