THOMPSON � One of Sullivan County�s bright spots in terms of economic development continues to be the Town of Thompson.

Town Supervisor Anthony Cellini said interest is running high in construction in the town.

��Even though there is the downturn in economy, our building and planning departments are extremely busy with new projects, with completed projects, with projects that are under construction,� he said.

There are some 1,500 housing units in varying stages of planning and construction in the Town of Thompson.
