Another Anti-Semitic Attack in France

Two days after the Friday night attack against a French Jew, who was brutally attacked and stabbed in Strasbourg on shabbos, reports detail another attack, this one targeting an elderly Jewish man outside a shul.

According to a leader of the Nimes Jewish community, the victim, in his 80s, was waiting to enter shul for davening when he was attacked, sprayed with teargas.

Anti-Semitic attacks and incidents continue to be on the rise in France and other European nations, some feel due to the growing anti-Israel sentiment fostered by many world leaders after Israel’s launching of the counter-terrorism in Gaza known as Operation Cast Lead, an operation intended to halt years of Hamas rocket fire into southern Israeli civilian population centers.
