Tri-State Area: Another Arctic Blast On The Way

The active winter continues as a high pressure system brings another arctic chill into the Tri-State after a slow snow melt on Sunday morning.

That blast will arrive over the next 24 to 36 hours as Sunday’s high reaches 36 degrees. The low will be 29 and will continue to drop into the work week.

The temperatures will get colder as a storm system begins to organize over the Ohio Valley and is expected to bring snow on Tuesday morning.

The snow could accumulate 1 to 3 inches by Tuesday evening with a mix of sleet and freezing rain. Another round of snow may drop on Wednesday as temperatures remain around freezing all week.
