In a pre-arranged visit coordinated with the IDF, over 2,000 mispallalim visited Kever Yosef in PA (Palestinian Authority) occupied Shechem to take part in candle lighting on the 7th day of Chanukah. A �chalaka� (upsherin) was also held for one 3-year-old.

Visitors came from around the country, with some arriving from Europe and even North America. Leading the group was HaRav Elyakim Levanon Shlita, rav of the Shomron & rosh yeshiva of the Elon Moreh Hesder Yeshiva; HaRav HaGaon Mordechai Gross Shlita, Gavaad Chanichei Yeshivos; Bat Yam Mayor Ori Buskila and MK Dr. Michael Ben-Ari.

The candles were lit by Colonel Nimrod Aloni, the Shomron Battalion commander.
