Anti-Semitic Attack at France�s Otzar HaTorah Yeshiva

An anti-Semitic attack against a 12-year-old student of the Otzar HaTorah Yeshiva took place earlier this week, on Monday, 3 Nissan 5772. According to the Kol Chai Radio report, three attackers, ages 13 and 14 jumped and beat the Jewish student as they shouted anti-Semitic vulgarities.

The victim sustained a head injury and required medical treatment. The attack occurred outside the school�s entrance, out of the line of sight of the policeman assigned to protect the school. Following the murderous attack at the school earlier in the month,�France�s minister of the interior called for stepped up protection at all Jewish school and shuls.

Paris Mayor Bertrand Delanoe issued a strong statement condemning the attack and all anti-Semitism, expressing solidarity with the victim and the students of the Jewish school in Toulouse.

Sammy Grossman, a community leader explained the father of the victim father filed an official complaint. The father added that sadly, for many, the terrorist has become a symbol of someone to emulate.
