Police on Wednesday afternoon 21 Iyar entered Meah Shearim and made a number of arrests, persons who they feel are connected to the burning of chareidi IDF soldiers (Chardakim) in effigy on Lag B�Omer.

Three youths were taken into custody as police have expended significant manpower and resources since Lag B�Omer to learn their identities. The suspects are reportedly 21, 15 and 11-years-old. Parents of the minors were called and they are in the custody of child services.

A police spokesman emphasizes �This is the first stage� and the investigation is continuing to determine if others were involved.
