A father and daughter are suspected of issuing fictitious invoices in the amount of millions of NIS for the sale of mobile buildings taken from IDF bases.

The father and daughter were arrested and released on bail by the Magistrate’s Court in Hadera on suspicion of involvement in issuing false invoices for the sale of mobile structures that the father “took” from military bases. The investigation was carried out by a special investigation team, which included representatives of the VAT Audit Department of Hadera, Customs and VAT Inquiries in Haifa and the North, and the Central Unit for Special Investigations in the Military Police.

Avi Shalom Komimi (58), a resident of the moshav of Maor, regularly took mobile structures from the IDF bases, which he transferred to the moshav in which he lives, and published them on Yad 2 [second hand goods website] and sold them to the highest bidder with fictitious invoices that he published in the name of “IG Operation”, “Or Kochavim”, “Masada Global” and “V.M. Afifi”. “Kumimi is suspected of selling the buildings and issuing the fictitious invoices.

This is a complex investigation involving a large number of people involved, including military personnel and civilian employees of the IDF.
