The mastermind behind the firebombing of an Outremont Jewish boys school almost six years ago is in trouble with the law again, about a month after being released from prison.
Omar Bulphred, 27, was arraigned last Friday on eight charges, five of them relating to loitering and prowling on private property near someones home, most of them in Anjou. Hes also charged with uttering death threats to a resident in one of those homes.
Bulphred was sentenced in 2009 to seven years in prison for his role in firebombing the Skver-Toldos Orthodox Jewish Boys School in Outremont in September 2006 and trying to set off another firebomb outside the Snowdon YM-YWHA in April 2007. Bulphred and an accomplice wrote letters declaring jihad supporting 18 men arrested in 2006 as suspected terrorists in Toronto.
The crown is objecting to Bulphreds release on bail.
