While the Western world continues discussing the merit of economic sanctions against Iran and the fears surrounding a possible Israeli assault against Tehran�s nuclear program, Iran continues developing weapons to improve its arsenal.

Iran�s state-run IRNA news agency reports that it has upgraded its short range surface-to-surface Fatah 110 missile, also known by the name Conqueror. According to the report, the new and improved short-range missile has quicker launch capabilities and a longer life.

Iranian Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi also announced plans for the production of its own fighter jets by March 2013 as well as drones and submarines.
