Chareidim traveling from Tel Aviv to Haifa on erev shabbos at 2:00PM did not imagine in their wildest dreams that they will be spending shabbos in a Netanya hotel but that is exactly what happened. At one point the train stopped for a long period of time and then officials announced there would be shuttle buses to transport passengers from Binyamina to Haifa.

Passengers were more than a bit agitated, reporting delays began in the Herzliya area and as a result, many frum passengers were unable to make it home for shabbos.

Israel Railway officials have not released any statement explaining the reason for the delays.
