There are currently over 2,000 without electricity in Lakewood alone, JCP&L says., and this is hours before the brunt of the storm is expected to make landfall in New Jersey.

If you lose power or see downed power lines as a result of the storm, report it to the police and to JCP&L at 888-544-4877.

There are poles and wires down in multiple locations around town – many taken down by falling trees.
