Confident his will be acquitted of the fraud and breach of trust charges, former Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman’s legal team has been working to compel the state of expedite his trial towards permitting the Yisrael Beitenu leader to return to his senior cabinet post.

The prosecution and defense have reached agreement and the trial surrounding the appointment of Ze’ev Ben-Aryeh and the Belarus ambassador will be moving on a quick track, ending by July 2013. The goal is to permit Lieberman to return serving as foreign minister, providing he is found not guilty in the trial.
