Knesset officials report on Monday, 8 Menachem Av 5773 a major cyber attack was attempted against the official website and Knesset computer system. The attack was prevented.

Officials explain hackers were working to penetrate the Knesset system, which of course contains sensitive information but cyber security officials were alerted to the attack prevented penetration into the system.
