The Costly Hotels in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv


jhAccording to a Bloomberg report, hotels in Yerushalayim and Tel Aviv rank among the more costly vacation options for travelers. Tel Aviv and Yerushalayim ranked high on the expensive listing of hotels in 106 cities around the world.

Tel Aviv ranks 14th with an average nightly hotel room going for $223. Yerushalayim ranks 19th on the list with an average hotel rate of $203. The Israeli cities passed Tokyo which ranks number 20, with an average hotel rate of $198, and Milano, which ranks 28th with an average room going for $185 a night.

Other rankings include Moscow in 30th place ($183), Berlin ranks 62nd ($145), and at the lowest end of the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi ($32). In first place, ranked most expensive is Geneva ($308), followed by Dubai ($273) followed by Kuwait ($253), Zurich ($250), and in fifth place is Miami ($245).

Other rates listed include London ($235), Hong Kong ($242), and Singapore ($235). Eilat, a major Israeli tourist city is not included in the survey. The same holds true for Los Vegas, America’s gambling capital.

  1. this has nothing to do with yerushalayims hotels being extremelt high-end, rather it is becuse of a lack of lower end options.
