PHOTOS: NYPD Arrests Man Wearing ‘Mercy For Animals’ Shirt After Stealing Chickens From Kapparos Center in Boro Park

A New Jersey man was arrested by the NYPD after he stole chickens from a Boro park Kapparos Center.

SOurces tell YWN that Hesa Tushar (39) of New Jersey was arrested on Sunday with the assistance of the Boro Park Shomrim.

Tushar – who was wearing a shirt which said “Mercy For Animals” on the front, suddenly arrived at the Sanz-Klausenberger Kapparos Center on 50th Street and 14th Avenue, grabbed a few chickens, and fled the scene in a vehicle.

He was apprehended at 15th Avenue and 48th Street.

  1. This incident certainly highlights the problem with doing Kapporos near the public highway. Communities around the world should now change to venues hidden from the public eye.
