Three fire teams and tankers are battling a blaze in a cement factory in the Matisyahu Industrial Park. Acrid smoke is bellowing from the scene. There are fears the blaze involves hazardous materials. The area is being cleared, including talmidim from the Ma’arava Yeshiva.
UPDATE: Reinforcements are arriving as additional buildings are being evacuated. Explosions are reported from the factory area and a number of tankers that were parked there are engulfed in flames as well. There are no reports of injuries at this time.

It’s been going on for almost 3 hours. As of half an hour ago, the fire was under control but all of a sudden re exploded and there are helicopters, tons of police, ambulances and ICU units going to the area.
