An Israeli delegation left Israel on Wednesday 24 Iyar to bring preemies home from Nepal, which was struck with another earthquake this week. The latest earthquake registered 7.3 and Israel was quick to respond with a medical team, including a neonatologist, to bring home the preemie babies, the surrogate moms and parents.
The team was headed by Magen David Adom, and it also includes paramedics and other personnel, as well as neonatal equipment.
The medical team and those rescued from the quake-stricken areas are scheduled to return to Israel on Thursday.
