Israel Fire Department Launches Emergency Numbers for the Disabled

Israel’s Fire Department has announced it has activated emergency numbers for the disabled including persons with a hearing impairment.

One will be able to call for assistance via fax or SMS text message and within seconds the distress call will be routed to the closest fire station.

· One may send a fax to 03-953-2230
