Jewish Teens Indicted for Assaulting and Beating an Arab Shepherd


chnIndictments were handed down in the Jerusalem district against two Jewish teens, one 18 and the second a minor, 15, are alleged to have beaten an Arab Shepherd. The case is being tried in the Jerusalem District Court. It is pointed out that one of the suspects was arrested in the past in connection to the Duma arson case. The alleged attack occurred near Kochav HaShachar in the Binyamin Regional Council of Shomron.

The defendants and a number of others allegedly chased the shepherd away and beat him with a steel rod while their faces were masked. At least one is also facing charges of carrying an illegal knife as well.

Honenu attorney David Levy is representing one of the suspects. He insists there is no evidence in the case to support the indictment.
