Snow has not accumulated in Yerushalayim and other areas as predicted but the near-freezing temperatures continue this morning, Wednesday, 17 Shevat.

Schools in Jerusalem, Gush Etzion, Betar Illit, the Shomron and other areas are opening today, but in some areas, classes and school bus pick-ups will be delayed an hour or two due to icing conditions on roads.

Police call on motorists to be particular vigilant and concentrate on driving more than usual during early morning hours as there are still patches of ice in many areas.

Parents are advised to call their respective area number for roadway and school scheduling information.
