9:42AM IL: According to a southern district police spokesman, a stabbing incident that occurred in Beersheva a short time ago is under investigation. Two sanitation workers were stabbed and lightly injured and transported to an area hospital where they are being interviewed.

Witnesses told authorities the attacker was an Arab male who fled. Police are searching for the attacker.
