Prime Minister Netanyahu said Israel is continuing its military campaign against Iran and Hezbollah, even as discussions about a possible agreement move forward.
“Earlier today, I spoke with our friend, President Trump,” Netanyahu said. “President Trump believes there is an opportunity to leverage the tremendous achievements we have reached alongside the U.S. military to realize the goals of the war through an agreement.”
Netanyahu stressed that operations remain ongoing.
“At the same time, we are continuing to strike in both Iran and Lebanon. We are smashing the missile program and the nuclear program, and we continue to deal severe blows to Hezbollah,” he said.
He revealed that Israel recently eliminated additional key figures.
“Just a few days ago, we eliminated two more nuclear scientists – and we are still active,” Netanyahu added.
“We will safeguard our vital interests under all circumstances,” he concluded.

So an agreement between Trump and Iran would bind Israel. The US gets what it wants (safe access to Gulf oil) and Iran has to avoid injuring American interests (no attacks of American allies in the Persian Gulf) leaving Iran and its allies free to attack Israeli and Jewish interests. And concession to Israel from Trump times out when the next Democrat takes office (and indeed if the Democrats take control of Congress, and the supermajority in the Senate is abolished- there will probably be legislative sanctions against Israel). Bibi will have to be a magician to escape with his reputation intact.
Mr. Netanyahu needs to get permission from President Trump on what he and his State can or cannot do.
This deal Trump is talking about is not with the Ayatollah or the IRGC but with somebody he claims he cannot name because if he did the people in power in Iran would kill him. And this is because the Ayatollah and the IRGC have said they won’t agree to end the war and open the Strait of Hormuz until “the US and Israel get down on their knees and beg forgiveness and agree to compensate us for the all the damage they caused and promise to never attack Iran again.” So how can this person who will get killed if they even know he’s talking about a deal have the power to reach an agreement where not only can the US and Israel just walk away from the war but also agree to completely stop the nuclear and missile programs when the people actually controlling Iran have vowed they would never agree to this.
