YWN was just given the following written statement on behalf of HaRav Aryeh Malkiel Kotler Shlita, the Rosh Yeshiva of Lakewood’s BMG following his signature appearing on a Kol Koreh to protest in Manhattan today:

“Rav Malkiel never signed a letter supporting the demonstrations in NYC or Washington. He did support being Mocheh for Kovad Hamaisim. Machah can be done via letters, Hishtadlus and other ways.

He notes the clear and explict Shitah of Hagoen Rav Aharon Kotler ZATZAL was to never demonstrate in the streets of America against any wrongdoing in Eretz Yisroel.”
