Two months after the IDF destroyed Mitzpei Yitzhar, hundreds gathered on Sunday, 12 Shevat 5772 for the chanukas habayis of Ner David, the new shul in memory of HaRav David Bar Chen HY”D.

HaKol HaYehudi reports that on 29 Kislev, hundreds of security forces destroyed the Mitzpei Yitzhar home of Yair and Sara Shalom, shortly before their chasnah. Mitzpei Yitzhar numbers a handful of families and a Chabad Shaliach, who founded the community about a decade ago.

The same day the home was destroyed the rebuilding began, leading to the new shul and yeshiva for chassidus.
