Sheba Medical Center Inoculates Patients Against Rubella


Doctors at Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer have given a rubella vaccine to patients who were in the emergency room this past Sunday, March 11, 2012 fearing they may have come in contact with a woman diagnosed with the illness in the emergency room. The vaccine was given to over thirty people.

A woman who lives in the center of the country who was escorting her child in the emergency room explains the emergency room was extremely crowded, with hundreds of people. She explains the following day she received a phone call from the hospital and it was explained to her that she and her son may have been exposed to rubella.

Health officials confirm that 37 people were inoculated.
