Disabled Israelis on Monday morning 7 Nissan blocked Route 41 at Port Junction, the northern entrance to the city of Ashdod. Some 15 persons went into the street to disrupt the flow of traffic. Police moved in to remove the protestors from the road to clear it to permit vehicular traffic to resume.

They were protesting what they call the inadequate government assistance that they receive monthly, insisting it is not enough to conduct a normal lifestyle.
