The Ministry of Transportation has sent letters to bus companies which operate on Shabbos. The ministry informed the companies that their operating on Shabbos is a violation of the law and continuing to do so, will result in legal actions against them.
Recipients of the letters include but are not limited to ShaBus and the Af Al Pi Ken NGO which operate Shabbos buses.
Chareidi lawmakers take credit for the ministrys actions, explaining their tenacious battle against chilul Shabbos has had an impact.
