Earthquake Rattles Eretz Yisroel

eq.jpgAt approximately 1:45AM, residents in Eretz Yisroel reported that their homes rattled in what felt like an earthquake. YWN has confirmed that the Geophysical Institute of Israel says that a small earthquake measuring 4.0 on the Richter Scale shook northern and central Israel overnight Monday. The earthquake was felt from as far north as Kiryat Shemona, to as far south as Yerushalayim. YWN received multiple reports from residents in Tzefas that felt the quake as well.

Boruch Hashem there are no injuries and/or damage being reported.

The last earthquake felt in Eretz Yisroel was on December 2 – (reported HERE on YWN) – and was the fourth quake felt in two weeks.
