Monday News Briefs from Eretz Yisrael


SUNDAY NIGHT:

18:11: A firebomb was hurled at an IDF post near the Hebron Cemetery. No injuries.

18:25: A military vehicle was damaged in a rock-throwing attack between Reichan and Dotan. No injuries.

18:30: A number of firebombs were hurled at the sentry post of Kibbutz Migdal Ohz from a passing Arab vehicle. No injuries.

MONDAY:

03:20: A firebomb was hurled at an IDF position in Chawarah. No injuries.

10:00: Today marks the 15th day of the nationwide nursing strike. Negotiations set to resume this afternoon at 2pm.

10:04: Today marks the 7th day of the Pelephone cellular telephone company strike.

10:35: A navy patrol shot at an Arab fishing boat from Gaza that failed to heed instructions to return to permitted fishing area. The man was hit in a leg by the gunfire.

12:34: Firebomb attack between Tapuach and Chawarah in Shomron. No injuries reported.

13:00: Arab violence near Yitzhar in Shomron. An IDF soldier and yishuv security official were injured lightly by rocks. One Arab was shot in a foot or leg.

14:17: Security forces permit reporting the arrest of members of a Hamas cell operating in Shuafat in the Jerusalem district and the northern capital. They are being indicted for alleged involvement in rock and firebomb attacks against security forces in the area.
