The spokesperson at Jerusalem�s Shaare Zedek Hospital reported on Monday morning, 18 Menachem Av, that an 8-month-old baby arrived in the emergency room during the night, a resident of an Arab area of the eastern capital, in serious condition.

Diagnostic testing revealed the child had a �dangerous drug� in his system, but the hospital report did not specify exactly what the substance was.

Police were notified, and they tacked down the child�s parents, who were questioned and subsequently placed under arrest. Police report the parents will be arraigned on Monday, and they will ask that the parents be held without bail.
