TEHILLIM – Young Woman Struck By Taxi In Beit Shemesh


An accident has left a 19-year-old female in serious condition on Sunday afternoon. This accident occurred in the old chareidi neighborhood in Beit Shemesh. MDA reports the call cam in at 3:26PM. The victim was hit by a passing taxi on Chazon Ish Street.

United Hatzalah EMT Moshe Kroizer told the media “Working with the MDA team, we treated the young lady who was struck by a cab while crossing the street, apparently in an authorized crosswalk”.

The victim was transported by MDA paramedics to the trauma unity of Jerusalem’s Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital with a head injury.

    these taxi drivers need to go through a semi-annual “patience examination” by a psych’ to see if they can be trusted with driving a taxi.
    it would weed out maybe 65% of them
    i think commercial airline pilots have a similar psych exam

  2. Also, a girl in my daughter’s class who lives in Cheftziba (another neighborhood in Bet Shemesh) was hit by a car or bus this morning. Please daven for Sarah Bat Shulamit.

  3. Correction on the name of my daughter’s friend: Sarah Bat Vardit. She was struck by a boss motzai Shabbat in Cheftziba.

  4. Pretty sure it was a toyota sienna involved in the cheftziba incident.
    Perhaps it was a boss driving a sienna…
