Minister Ze’ev Elkin, who is a candidate in the Jerusalem mayoral race, is seen at the opening of his campaign headquarters.
Dozens of activists, volunteers and supporters arrived on Wednesday for the event and for a toast on the occasion of the opening of the campaign of Ze’ev Elkin at the election headquarters in the Ramot neighborhood of the capital.
Elkin said, “Every day we gain additional strength. I have very broad support from the ministers of the government, the Knesset members, the prime minister and the outgoing mayor, Nir Barkat. We receive tremendous support in all neighborhoods, during parlor meetings and gatherings, and this is good news”.
Elkin vows his administration will concentrate on unifying the city, which is now divided, with the various sectors being divided from one another.
