An 8-year-old Arab child on Thursday morning threw a knife at security personnel manning the checkpoint on highway 443, the Jerusalem-Modi’in Highway.
There were no injuries, and one can see in the brief video that the child threw the knife and fled back into his village, Beit Ur al-Tahta near Ramallah. IDF troops were searched the area to locate the suspect.
The report “little boy running” can be heard on the radio in the security footage of the incident.
It is possible the child was not acting on his own, but was sent to learn the reaction of security forces to an Arab child for future attacks.

Ultimately it’s the Palestinian families that are responsible for these kind of attacks and they are the ones that should suffer. Measures like revoking their citizenship, expelling the families, or placing them under house arrest, and banning them from certain areas should be implemented to deter such attacks, these are not lone wolf attacks the majority of the Palestinians encourage it, so they are the ones at the end of the day that should bear the brunt and take all the blame.
The article did not call the 8-year-old a “terrorist,” and I am not sure it is helpful to call him/her a “terrorist,” as did the YWN headline writer. As the reporter Tom Friedman of the liberal, anti-Semitic and failing New York Times has said, peace will come when the Palestinians decide they love their children more than they hate the Jews.
