Eight Injured In Ramat Hasharon Fire [VIDEO & PHOTOS]


Eight persons were injured in a fire that took place during the night (Sunday to Monday) in a residential complex on Menachem Begin Street in Ramat Hasharon.

Firefighters brought the blaze under control as emergency medical service professionals provided prehospital care for eight victims of the fire. They were all transported to local hospitals.

A 50-year-old man sustained serious injury in the fire, and he was transported to the burn unit of Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer Hospital with third degree burns. A 70-year-old woman was listed in moderate condition, the result of smoke inhalation and she was taken to Meir Hospital in Kfar Sava.

In addition, 35-year-old parents and their baby daughter were in light condition, transported to Kaplan Hospital in Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikvah. Three other victims were in light condition as well.
