New Paths In Old Beit Shemesh Cemetery To Facilitate Access

The Beit Shemesh Religious Council has begun building new paved pedestrian paths in the city’s old cemetery to facilitate access for visitors.

Employees of the council have already begun the work, pouring concrete paths for the convenience and accessibility of families and relatives visiting the cemetery. This is the old section of the cemetery where there were no paths in the past, and access was difficult.

Religious council chairman, Yehuda Medizda explains: “For about 50 years, there have been no paths or access roads for families visiting their loved ones in the old section of the cemetery. I thank you Mayor Aliza Bloch for her assistance and am proud of the council’s workers who worked hard to create these new paths”.
