The Chief Rabbi of Israel’s Bucharim community, HaGaon HaRav Yitzchak Pinchas HaCohen ZT”L was niftar. The rav’s petira has resulted in aveilus among members of the Bucharim community worldwide.

The niftar maintained a close connection with many Gedolei Yisrael from all communities. For many years, he served as a dayan on a Rabbanut beis din.

The levaya began at 12:30PM from the Shaare Bnei Tzion Shul at 43 Ben-Zakai Street in Bnei Brak and proceeded to Jerusalem for kvura in Har Menuchos.
