Bnei Brak Resident Arrested for Growing Marijuana in Caesarea


A Bnei Brak resident in his 30s was arraigned in the Hadera Magistrate’s Court on Thursday after being arrested for growing a commercial quantity of marijuana in a Caesarea villa.

Police on Wednesday acting on a tip visited the Caesarea villa and found no less than 180kg (396 LBS) of marijuana and equipment related to processing and packaging the illegal drug in many rooms of the home.

The suspect in custody is a 31-year-old Bnei Brak resident, who has been questioned, arraigned and is being held without bail.
