Arabs in Haifa attacked an avreich (yeshiva student) at about 10:00PM Monday night on Sirkin Street in the Talpiot area of the city. The victim is a chareidi male resident of the Hadar area of Haifa.

According to Ladaat, a number of Arabs attacked Mordechai L. who following the incident summoned assistance. He was transported to Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, where he was treated in the emergency room.

Mordechai explained he had just left a nearby hospital from a bikur cholim visit when four youths attacked him shortly after 10:00PM, pointing out the assailants spoke Arabic. They used blunt objects to strike him in his head and upper body he told authorities.

Mordechai stated they did not ask for money or anything else but apparently just wanted to attack him because of his Jewish appearance, a blatant anti-Semitic attack.
