Rabbi Nechemya Malinowitz, head of the Igud of Yeshivas and Seminaries tells YWN that he has just been notified by the Israeli Airport Authorities of the following breaking news.
Any non-Israeli citizen that has been vaccinated outside of Israel, meaning anyone that arrives in Israel now with a permit (such as a student visa etc.) that was vaccinated in the United States (or anywhere outside of Israel), will be required to quarantine in a hotel for 7 days.
If you were vaccinated in Israel will be able to quarantine in your own home.

I don’t understand, I thought Israel is allowing people to come in for a wedding, but they can only come in a week before now they have to quarantine for a week?!? They’ll miss the chasuna!!!!

This is inaccurate. What he means to discuss is specifically people entering the political borders of the State of Israel.
It’s more “frum” (and plain honest) to call the Zionist State of Israel by its name, as in the State, rather than calling it the land, as in “Eretz Yisrael”, since conflating the two falsely gives the Zionist State legitimacy that it, of course, does not have.
This is despite that the Zionists have invaded and established their heretical State in a large portion of Eretz Yisrael. The two are very much not the same.

What are you so busy with that it annoys you? Jews used to travel for months to get to EY … If you are learning in your country, so do the same in EY for a week. If you are not learning, even a better reason to stay and learn for a week. Takse a sefer, a hevrusa and a computer to look up sources.

It will be fun to watch lReb Chezkelah being dragged off to a holding area and then to a prison cell not nearly as well decorated as a Corona Quarantine Hotel Room.

You seem to imply that COVID was brought on because of voting in the WZO. Rav Elya Brudny told people to vote and so did Rav Asher Weiss. If I recall correctly, when COVID first hit Rav Chaim Kaniesvky wrote a letter about being careful with lashan hara and Rav Elya Ber Wachtfogel talked about the internet. I did not see the tying of COVID to voting.
I can’t understand how all the commentators failed to read the message of the article.
