SECURITY/DEFENSE:

*Lebanon accuses the Israel Air Force of violating its airspace, stating fighter jets flew over Beirut on Thursday.

*Another violent protest against the separation fence at Na’alin. Border police used riot control adjuncts. A female Israeli photographer was lightly injured by rubber bullets.

*The Pentagon has announced to Congress that it plans to sell four littoral combat ships to Israel. The deal is worth $1.9 billion.

*Lebanon: Residents of Tzur, in the south, report they received automated calls from Israel warning them not to cooperate with Hizbullah terrorists.

*Six fire apparatus took part in extinguishing a forest fire in the Jerusalem forest adjacent to Har Nof.

*Thousands attended the funerals of Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser.

*Five fire apparatus fought a blaze during the afternoon hours near Moshav Aderet.
