Israel Police

Tel Aviv District Commander Amar Peretz and the staff of the Dan Region Command visited the city of Bnei Brak on Sunday ahead of the Yamim Noraim.

The officers visited the homes of local Rabbanim and Roshei Yeshivos, including HaGaon HaRav Yitzchak Issac Landau, HaGaon HaRav Massoud Ben-Shimon, HaGaon HaRav Meir Tzvi Bergman and HaGaon HaRav Meir Mazuz, as well as the home of the Modzhitz Rebbe.

They toured Ponevezh Yeshivah and the “רש”י/ר”ת” Tefillin Institute, where they received an overview of tefillin production and testing. They concluded the tour with a visit to the Siferi Torah division of Malchus Waxberger.

  1. No, but its probably going to be more difficult to hit one of these frum guys on the head with a baton during the next demonstration if you’ve met them up close and personal. Even Bibi goes through the motions of visiting with rabbonim in Yerushalayim before yom tovim and then makes a point of going out for dinner at one of the most expensive treif restaurants in London or Paris to celebrate. Its great optics.

  2. How were these evil Zionists (who carry out the shmad laws making them the worst) not met with stones, bottles, & dumpster fires when trying to enter our holy city of Bnei Brak?
Did anyone else notice the officer who in a brazen act of Chutzpah put his Smartphone (Hashem Yirachem) on the table to antagonize us Charedim?
A wonder how many of our Heligeh Kinderlach will leave the “Tent of Torah” because they saw a bunch “Modern day Korachs” being treated with respect & proper hospitality.
