Fifty (50) motorists and pedestrians were R”L killed on the nation�s roadways in the month of August.� Hundreds were injured, some seriously and some sustaining permanent disabilities.

Over 10% of the road deaths in Israel are children, the highest percentage in the world, Israel�s National Road Safety Authority reports. The report addresses �children� being anyone up to age 14, stating that segment of society represents 11% of the total road fatalities annually.

307 motorists and pedestrians were killed on the nation�s roadways since January 1, 2008.
