Five IDF soldiers were seriously injured after a serious attack by Hamas terrorists earlier today.
According to the IDF, at approximately 5:25 p.m. a cell of five Hamas terrorists infiltrated an army encampment in Gaza City, setting off two powerful explosive devices near a tank from the 7th Armored Brigade’s 82nd Battalion.
The blasts were followed by heavy gunfire. In the ensuing battle, IDF troops fought back heroically, eliminating at least two of the terrorists — one through tank shelling and another in close-quarters fighting. Three other terrorists managed to escape and are now being pursued by the army.
Tragically, five IDF soldiers, among them two officers — a medical officer and a tank officer — were seriously wounded in the attack. Six others sustained lighter injuries. All of the wounded were evacuated to hospitals, and their families have been notified.

Why does Israel continuously go out of their way to avoid “innocent “civilian casualties in exchange for the injury and deaths of their own soldiers? Is distorted World opinion more important than our own boys lives?
there are likely to be more attacks like this, and the idf must be better prepared to respond.
