  1. We have to be thankful to Hashem that this episode had a happy ending. It could have ח”ו ended in a much more sad way. We were not there. And there are lots of details that are unknown, yet. But I am willing to bet that the mother of this child did not even know that he was missing. Until the authorities contacted her.

  2. Sketchmaster – disgusting comment

The truth is the incident occurred when they traveling on a inter-city bus route.
The panicking, parents were working furiously to locate their missing toddler using all means at their dipsoal but drew a line at involving the police – given the anti-chardei climate they were petrified of being unfairly harassed and sued for child abuse.

  3. Other reports included more details. He is one of 11 kids and the family was travelling home by bus. He got left on the bus. Presumably, he fell asleep and no one noticed but even if the parents were busy with other, younger kids, responsibility should have been given to a teen sibling or even a 10-year-old to watch over him, and the parents should have done a head count that all the kids got off the bus
