Channel 12 journalist Amit Segal reported there is no realistic way to bridge the gap between the Chareidi MKs and the legal advisor to the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, Miri Frenkel Shor—and that, as a result, the draft law is unlikely to pass and the deadlock will lead to early elections.
Kikar H’Shabbat reported that senior Chareidi figures involved in drafting the Chareidi draft law are furious at Frenkel Shor’s conduct, saying she is deliberately thwarting the legislation of the law.
“She has become Yuli Edelstein 2,” the Chareidi sources said. “She acts like Edelstein and does everything to ensure the draft law doesn’t pass.”
It should be noted that this isn’t the first time that Chareidi officials have complained about Frenkel-Shor, who reportedly has been actively raising difficulties to the law for months and refuses to compromise with the Chareidi MKs on key issues.
Regarding early elections, Segal said, “We are left with three possible election dates—June, September, or October.”

How would elections help?
The Likud and unfortunately the chareidi MK too,are all talk no action!!!!
Perhaps the Frum people should make an alliance with Ben Gevir and other like minded individuals who actually do something, come to an agreement regarding the draft law, and run as one big frum party.
If Ben gevir, Shas, and the frum parties run as one, they can take over the do nothing Likud. Perhaps then we can get something done.
Like remove Bagatz, vote on new Judges…. Lower food pricing, housing, energy, more farming…
And of course safety. Don’t send soldiers in harms way, rather bomb the enemy from the far until they are totally destroyed, ( their children and houses shouldn’t be more important than our brothers the Israeli soldiers.). Remove and concur enemy land including any village that terrorizes Israel.
Elections need to happen soon enough anyways no matter what.
I don’t even get what they’re trying to do. Whatever law they come up with that manages to get past will be tossed out by the usual Hitler’s of the Supreme Court. Why even bother
