It would have added allot if the article made clear where in the Yerushalyim area this was so we can get an idea of how close it was to the city itself. This is because as far back as Saddam Hussein in 1990 nobody ever fired missiles or rockets at Yerushalyim because if it was off by just a bit it would have hit the arabs so people in Yerushlayim always felt safe. So if they fired at Yerushalyim itself it would be a first and will show how confident Iran is in the accuracy of their missiles that they will now fire at the Jewish parts of the city, something nobody did before.

We live in Israel and we feel very safe here. Would rather be here in our land than anywhere else in the world right now. Too much hate and shootings and swastikas in the USA. Also, the dollar is so low now.

Where a yid belongs is where his rebbe or rav is. If you are Skver than you probably need to be in Skver town with your rebbe. If you are satmar you need to be in monroe or Williamsburg. If you are Bobov than you need to be in Boro park. If you are BMG Kollel guy you need to be in lakewood. You need to be close to your rebbe or rav. Are Jews all suppose to move to Eretz yisroel. Certainly not according to the gemorah. See Pesachim 87 I think it is. That one of the reasons we are spread all over the golus is to give non Jews a chance to become Jews. I don’t learn Gemara, I have no response for your interpretation of Psachim 87. Maybe we do need Jews everywhere, for whatever reason. I certainly understand our mission to spread ‘????? ? amongst the nations of the world, like Shlomo HaMelech says in Mishlei. I can’t share a psak about where we should live. But claiming our safety as a ??? is due to to the fact that we’re spread out? No. Our safety comes only from Hashem.
