*17:49: Kassam rocket attack without injuries.

POLITICS, DOMESTIC & MORE:

*Tuesday was another unseasonably warm and dry day with another increase in temperatures expected for Wednesday. The weatherman is speaking of a chance of local showers towards the week’s end.

*The treasury is planning to infuse NIS 6 billion to banks. NIS 5 billion to investment offices and towards recycling bond debts due to the economic crisis.

*A number of buildings were targeted in a hate graffiti attack in Bnei Brak. Swastikas were painted on them.

*Former Kadima MK Ze’ev Elkin is seeking a slot on the Likud ticket.

*Left-wing Israelis and Arab turned to the Supreme Court to remove the security fence and remains of Amona in Shomron, stating the land is private Arab land.

*Two Israelis arrested for possession of 32,000 ecstasy pills in Thailand over a year ago were sentenced to death. They plan an appeal.

*A cooling container struck an El Al jumbo jet about to take off from Tel Aviv to Brussels on Tuesday afternoon. There were no injuries. The pane was damaged resulting in a delayed flight. An investigation was ordered.
